Singapore Airlines Travel Updates and Travel Advisory
Effective 28 October 2021, Singapore Airlines will resume five-times weekly services from Dhaka to Singapore and beyond.

Passengers travelling from Bangladesh are now allowed to transit via Singapore Changi Airport. However, entry restrictions into Singapore still apply. Passengers who do not fulfill the following criteria will not be accepted for travel.
Allowed Entry into Singapore
a. Long-Term Pass holders or holders of In-Principle Approval (IPA) letters: Must hold an Approval Letter of Entry (ALE) issued by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA), the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), or the Ministry of Education (MOE), or the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI), or a Safe Travel Pass (STP) issued by the Safe Travel Office (STO). E.g., Student Pass, Work Pass
- Short-Term visitors: Must hold with an ALE issued by ICA or an STP issued by STO;
- Singapore Citizens: Allowed to enter Singapore; no additional permission required.
- Singapore Permanent Residents: Passengers must hold valid re-entry permits to enter Singapore.
- Vaccination: Effective 01 November 2021 all Work Pass and Student Pass holders, their dependents, and holders of an In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter entering Singapore must be fully vaccinated.
- Pre-Departure Test: All travellers entering Singapore are required to take a Covid19 PCR test within 48 hours before departure for Singapore and present a valid negative Covid-19 test for entry to Singapore.
- On Arrival: All travellers from Bangladesh are required to undergo a Covid-19 PCR test on arrival in Singapore and must serve a 10-days Stay Home Notice (SHN) at dedicated SHN facilities.

Transit via Singapore
- With effect from 27 October 2021, passengers travelling from Bangladesh will be allowed to transfer/transit through Singapore.
- All passengers transiting through Singapore are required to take a Covid-19 PCR test within 48 hours before the scheduled day of departure to Singapore.
Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL Flights)
- VTL flights have been designated for passengers with travel terminating in Singapore. Transit passengers are not allowed to be booked on VTL flights.
- Partners are reminded to ensure passengers’ contact details are inserted into the PNR so that customers may receive updates on any flight schedule changes and/or travel restrictions.
